A file encrypted so thoroughly that no computer — classical or quantum — will ever decrypt it. Not in a year. Not in a billion years.
The Numbers
Same MEDINA algorithm. Same code. But with parameters that make brute force physically impossible in this universe.
| Attack | Challenge #1 (Crackable) | Forever File |
|---|---|---|
| Brute-force path | 216 = 65,536 | 2256 = 1077 |
| Grover's (quantum) | 28 = 256 | 2128 = 1038 |
| Master key space | SHA256 of a guessable passphrase | 256-bit true random |
| Matryoshka layers | 8 | 64 (each sequential) |
| Time to crack (classical) | Minutes to hours | Longer than the age of the universe |
| Time to crack (quantum) | Seconds | Longer than the age of the universe |
The Physics
There are roughly 1080 atoms in the observable universe. The number of possible paths is 1077. Even if every atom were a computer checking one path per nanosecond since the Big Bang, you'd have checked less than 0.000000001% of the paths.
Quantum search gives a square-root speedup. 2256 becomes 2128. That's still 340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,456 operations. No quantum computer — real or theoretical — can do this.
Challenge #1 uses a guessable passphrase. The Forever File uses 256-bit key generated from system entropy. No passphrase. No pattern. No shortcut. Generated once, used once, stored nowhere public.
Even with the path key, 64 nested AES-256 layers must be peeled one at a time. Each key depends on the previous. No parallelism. No shortcuts.
We challenge every quantum computing company that has announced recent breakthroughs to attempt to decrypt this file. The algorithm is public. The code is public. The encrypted file is downloadable. All you need is the key.
If your quantum computer is as powerful as your press releases suggest, prove it. Decrypt the Forever File and post the contents with #MEDINAChallenge.
We'll wait.

The Blind Souk routing algorithm is a tribute to Marrakech — the Red City, founded in 1070. Almost a millennium of walls that still stand. Just like this encryption.
